        According to the provisions of the Regulation on Fire Protection of Buildings, chimneys are defined as independent channels used to expel waste gases and end products of combustion in heat generators or polluted air in the environment. Chimneys in production facilities should be designed in accordance with the standards and should be maintained and cleaned in certain periods (especially in autumn or winter). 
In our İzmir Atatürk Organised Industrial Zone, fire incidents have recently occurred due to the lack of chimney cleaning.
Regular cleaning of the chimneys of the facilities operating throughout our region will reduce the risk of possible fire and will prevent loss of life and property in our factories.
