Cenk Karace became the new Chairman of the Board of Directors of İzmir Atatürk Organised Industrial Zone.
 
At the 21st Ordinary General Assembly meeting held on 27 February at IAOSB Regional Directorate, the list of Hilmi Uğurtaş, who has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors since 2003, received 170 votes, while the list formed by Cenk Karace won the election with 179 votes.
 
Emphasising that İzmir Atatürk Organised Industrial Zone is like his home, Karace said, ‘This is the sanctuary of all of us. We will do our best to carry the flag we received higher. We fully believe in the power of the new management and the strength of the new energy. We are excited about the projects we plan to implement in İzmir Atatürk Organised Industrial Zone.’
 
Karace also thanked all members of the board of directors who served the Zone for 20 years under the chairmanship of Hilmi Uğurtaş for their work.
 
Hilmi Uğurtaş, who has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors of IAOSB since 2003, congratulated the new management and said that they are always ready to support them.
 
Cem İnam, Melih Dirin, Fesih Demirer and İlker Ergüllü were included in Cenk Karace's Board of Directors list.
