According to Article 59 of the OIZ Implementation Regulation, if the land allocation and sales fee, infrastructure participation shares to be collected from the participants or tenants, electricity, water, wastewater, natural gas and similar sales and service fee payments are not made on time, the amount not paid for the delay period; A delay increase is applied on a day basis at the rate specified in Article 51 of the Law No. 6183 on the Procedure for Collection of Public Receivables.

With the Presidential Decree No. 8484 published in the Official Gazette dated 21.05.2024 and numbered 32552 dated 21.05.2024 and published in the Official Gazette dated 14.11.2023, the delay interest rate in paragraph 1 of Article 51 of the Law on the Procedure for Collection of Public Receivables No. 6183, which is 3.5% per month, has been determined as 4.5% to be valid as of 21.05.2024 and to be applied separately for each month. 

I kindly request your information that a monthly delay interest rate of 4.5% will be applied to all invoices issued by our region that are not paid on time as of 21 May 2024.
