İzmir Atatürk Organised Industrial Zone has signed the tender for the construction work of the Mixed Concept Project, which is the biggest project in its history since 1990 when it started its activities. IAOSB, which signed the contract for the construction work in return for flat with Odak Construction, the company that submitted the only bid to the tender, will have a complex area that includes various structures with a construction area of 142 thousand square metres.
The project, which will be built on a service support area of 46 thousand square metres within the borders of the zone, will include blocks containing workplaces, sales stores, commercial enterprises, offices, etc., as well as a bazaar and a multi-purpose hall and car park floors of 800 square metres.
Cenk Karace, Chairman of the Board of Directors of İzmir Atatürk Organised Industrial Zone, said that in the project, which will have mixed-use functions such as trade, education and health services with its usage contents, an important resource will be created for the Private İzmir Atatürk Organised Industrial Zone Nedim Uysal Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School with the income to be obtained by renting the areas belonging to IAOSB.
Karace explained that all construction projects will be prepared within 6 months following the contract signed mutually between IAOSB and ODAK, and that the project is aimed to be completed within 3 years.
