Mehmet Ergenekon, Head of Suburban and Rail System Investments Department of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, and Kadir Efe Oruç, Head of Transportation Department, met with IAOSB officials to discuss the latest status of the IAOSB Tram Project, the foundation of which was laid by Izmir Metropolitan Municipality in July 2021. During the meeting, the reasons for the delays in the opening of the tramway were explained and solutions were discussed for the realisation of the process as soon as possible.
