Established in 1990, İzmir Atatürk Organised Industrial Zone (IAOSB) is one of the most important production, export and employment centres of Turkey. 

With a total area of 6.240.000 m2 , the Zone is located in the northwest of Izmir province, 20 km from Izmir Port, 45 km from the airport and 8 km from the TIR customs. The zone is connected to the airport, bus station, port and city centre via the ring road. 

Approximately 50.000 people are employed in our region where 600 companies are active. The companies of our zone are mainly concentrated in textile, ready-to-wear, machinery, automotive sub-industry, metal, plastic, chemical, food, electrical and electronic sectors. IAOSB's annual turnover is 7.8 billion, exports 2.5 billion and imports 1 billion dollars.

In our zone, 55 million m3 of natural gas, 700 million kWh of electricity and 4 million m3 of water are consumed annually.

Our region has TSE EN ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, TSE EN ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System and TSE EN ISO 50001:2018 Energy Management System certificates within the Integrated Management System.
